It’s funny to have discovered a place so beautiful that has been on my doorstep all these years. The Redwood Forest in Warburton is a stand of beautiful American Redwoods, a place that is dark and mysterious, filled with willow sculptures and a silence so serene as to lose all sense of time.

Pat has worked tirelessly behind the scenes of St Andrews Market for over 10 years, planting and revegetating the local environment for the joy and pleasure of others. She lives just down the lane, past the pony rides, where she nurtures hundreds of indigenous seedlings ready for planting. All of her time is given freely so that the local environment can regenerate. We interviewed Pat many months ago for our St Andrews Project and have since discovered that not many people know about what she contributes to the space that so many get to enjoy. So this is a little ‘thank you’ to a wonderfully warm and generous human being.
