The name Toolangi is an Aboriginal word meaning tall trees and this is where Martin, the woodsman, handcrafts his wooden spoons for market day, his simple studio cocooned by giant mountain ash. He lives and works in this meditative space, creating spoons from a variety of woods found on and around his property. Jo and I spent a sunny afternoon interviewing Martin for our St Andrews Market project and, as usual, I give you a sneak peak of the shoot for the upcoming book. Enjoy!
